The "Christmas Anagram" Game

Let's have some fun with Seasonal Anagrams, and put your poetic / word plays skills to the test!!!

How this works is..... One or more of adjacent words in the sentence will "Anagram" into a Christmas word or words."

An example would be below:

Go score with this fictional seasonal character.

*** PLEASE HIGHLIGHT THE WORDS THAT WILL LEAD ONE TO THE ANSWER, LIKE IN THE ABOVE EXAMPLE, AND ALSO HIGHLIGHT WITH RED (TIS THE SEASON, LOL)***

** The next person will then post the answer, and post the next "Christmas Anagram Challenge"!!**

BTW-------> Answer: Ebenezer Scrooge from Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”

Who's up for the challenge?

I'm not sure how much clue I am supposed to give...my anagram is contained in some of the consecutive words below.

Driving through town, I am forced to look at the vilest figs.

Hi AMZY!!!!

I am sorry, I forgot to put in my instructions that the words that would lead one to the answer must be highlighted, and also highlighted in RED.

However, I thought that since those two words on the end "vilest figs" were odd, that they were the chosen words. Not sure though lol, until you highlight, then we all can read the rest of the sentence for the clues.

EVILS GIFT OR EVIL GIFTS????
------

Thanx for the clarification MS PAINTED - I thought the same thing - what a combination of words "vilest figs" lol - Not sure what the hell that is - but it does "anagram" to evils gift - though I'm not sure how that could be "christmasy"
--------------

I called and called and called... He said, "I meant to pick up - but thought you may be rude..." I said, " Indeed the rude phone - loser!"

MsJ! I think this is supposed to be "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" but there are either two R's missing or I've got it wrong!

Amzy - You need to HIGHLIGHT! If these are the letters highlighted:

Driving throu gh town I am forc ed to look at the vilest figs.

Then those letters anagram to:
Love to give, it's looking for gifts that I dread!

Good luck with this one!:

Jpic enticed other great poets to join!

Altree, "Decorating the Tree!"

OK, I'll repost mine. Nothing evil at all, msJ.

Driving through town, I am forced to look at the vilest figs.

2 days and no guesses...so here's a hint: the solution is 2 words, F.L.
