Well DANG IT! Where's JER - Did you send him the PM to let him know he was tagged ZAAC???? Anyway - he no-showed - so I complete tag poetry #5
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------

Tag Poem #5- Shattered Light

I dream in white, most dream in red,
I've spent my life escaping them,
my way is a silken breeze, and I adapt frequently,
I'm the hush between the trees,

And as the zephir blows,
a faded breeze of demure and effervescent might,
reluctant am I to endure such a blaze of
ever-encompassingly shattered light

my heart reaches out through windows of soul
some are hardened and bitter like coal
but I know the love that began in us all
with that same love, a shattered light could remain whole

Delirious ravings of dark spent dreams
Gleans normalcy from the betwixt and between
That shattered light grips souls’ dark shadow
A prisoner still, but wait for tomorrow

I call across dark lattices
screaming at the shadows in my eyes
I rant, against the grain against the wall
and they wonder why my spirit seeks the night

But yay that I do dream in white
whilst most dream in red, and I've spent my life escaping them.
I am the hush between the trees, My way the silken shattered light.
Can you see me? I am the ghost whisper of freedom.

Graduation day

Tag Poetry Rules:
I start a poem with four lines. Then I will "tag" a Member by posting "Tag [membername] - You're It For Tag Poetry"

I will then send the tagged Member a Private Message via the PM System telling them they have been tagged to participate in Tag Poetry.
Note: Please put the Tag Poetry link in the PM
Example Tag: Tag MsJacquiiC - You're It For Tag Poetry: Collaboration Game: Tag Poetry

The Member tagged will then copy the previous lines into the next thread post, leaves a space between the stanzas, and then adds their four lines

At the end of their lines that Member will then "tag" the next member by posting "Tag [membername] - You're It For Tag Poetry" after their four lines. The Member should then send the tagged Member a Private Message via the PM System telling them they have been tagged to participate in Tag Poetry.

The next Member copies the previous 8 lines of poetry and adds their four lines... and so on until the Member with lines 17 through 20 (the 5th stanza of each tag poem)

The Member who ends up doing lines 17 thru 20 (the 5th stanza) has to add their four lines and tag the last person with the words... "Tag [membername] - Wrap it up please!"
** This let's the last tagged Member know that their stanza will be ending the poem **

Extra Guidelines:
A little math: Each Tag Poem will have a total of 24 lines AND 6 participating Members.
The Member who starts the tag poem gives it a title and a theme if necessary.
The Member who starts a tag poem must also post the rules again in the post he or she starts.
All participating Members must stick to the given theme.
You must notify the tagged Member by sending a PM - otherwise they may not know they have been tagged.
If the next Member tagged doesn't respond in 3 days the previous Member tags someone else.
It is ok to tag a member who has previously participated in the same poem.
It is ok for two people to tag one another back and fourth until a poem is complete.

Tag Poetry #6 - Graduation Day (Dual of Lovers)

Graduation day,
I'm left here with nothing to say,
my pennance wasn't sweet relief,
the price was hers to pay

Graduation day,
I'm left here with nothing to say,

And what a price was paid
considering my prepaid beliefs...
Of course economics class I dreamed away.
I flitted away like money; Dew on the leaf.

had I kept you not below, but beneath
maybe less now my heart would sink,
what can dew on a leaf be but the summation of my cries, nothing dry,
except somehow its not enough of a release to let it go by,
