Jim...this is a very, very intricately woven story of such emotional upheaval!! Riveting!! You capture the audience from the title all the way through to the end. I have to say that although it was a sad tale...and I believe a realistic one...at the end I burst out laughing! Talk about a mean, stubborn so and so!! I sincerely thought he was going to apologize for his treatment of Mel, but no! Anyway...a very enjoyable and captivating read!
