Adulation,
Laudation,
Lionization.

If that is why we write

We've surely lost our soul.
All I want to do is write,
Not ask that you extol,
Treasure or indict,

In any way, my word.
So go ahead and say

That you have been angered,
Or I have brightened up your day

With all my views on life.
Remember though, my friend,
It matters what you see,
That in the end,
Each word I write - is me.

VERY nice Acrostic...
sometimes it is hard to break from the stereotype because it is used in younger school...lol and we all butchered it then.

There are so many reasons why we write and hard to pin it down precisely at times, but no matter...the deep satisfaction that we get deep down inside from the self-expression is priceless.
