This is so true! Many people say they have no choice for the circumstances they're in but the reality is there's always a choice. Making choices do open doors for new opportunities! You have summed up, in a few words and lines, what I've been telling my granddaughter for years!

Thanks Gail...yes, we do always have a choice...most people find it easier not to choose so that they can blame everyone and everything else.

i've read all your haikus and i like yours better than i've ever read. somehow you give them a tangible emotion that has a lilt and an edge at the same time. And it always has a sensual feminine strong feel to it...like you know when to use it but also when not to in a very delicate way.

actually Zaac I believe this would be a Senryu....... Haiku are about Nature. This is a fine Senryu Nomad..... Beautifully done.
