Pad of paper
Pen of ink,
Eyes to wonder
Mind to think.

Words of spendor
Subjects hard,
Words to ponder
From this bard.

Taken from us
To this hill,
Lies a poet
Ever still.

let love and light be our guides again.

I like the flow and rhyme. This is a great tribute to the dead poets - just wonder if

"Lies a poet" is intentional.
I think people are laid to rest, or the poet lays on the hill.
Could be wrong though, these verbs always confuse me.
