An Eagles Soul
~
As an eagle soars so eloquently
Over the great Mississippi river
With the power of it’s feathers
Sails with natures loving, giving assistance
Extending its wings, to fly away
In its pursuit to hunt on this dawning morn’.
The eagles majestic wings waltzing
All through the southern azure skies
Its spirit roaming, its soul revealing
Through its keen eyesight.
Beyond this earthly domain
A rolling lush green land

Ahhhhh, from the title, I knew it was a must read! Loved it! So eloquent, and I was flying high on the tips of the Eagle's wings through its majestic journey. I love this line------>The eagles majestic wings waltzing, that is simply beautiful. I will never look at the flight again the same. You gave us the imagery of the flight in all its beauty, as well as its purpose of hunting. Thank you for another walk through one of nature's finest.
