The Hearth and Feast
Brother Wind is calling calling
Whispering within the air
Caressing fingers on our flesh
Flowing secrets in our hair
Mother Earth is humming humming
Crooning out a lullaby
As all her creatures wander home
To comforting waiting arms we lie
Sister Water singing singing
Sweet sweet songs of ice and snow
Pushing us to wander onward
To her fiery Father's glow.
Father Fire flickers flickers
Welcoming with merry laughter
Joining us in celebration
Lulling us to sleep hereafter.
Father, Mother, Sister, Brother
In their favor we find peace.
Now's the time when love and laughter
Come together in all beasts.
Join us now at the hearth
And listen to the tales we spin.
Drink our mead and eat our dinners
For soon our Spring will come again.
