~IF TENDER LOVE SHALL EVER SHINE ON ME~

If tender love shall ever shine on me
as night enshrouds its cloak upon my sight.
My lonely heart shall dance with joyous glee,
for in her gentle arms she holds what’s right.

It's heaven lone that holds perceptions key,
and marches on through hatred’s wicked fight.
Through depths of raging storm's enormity,
at last my soul is sated by love's light.

As heaven shines in her divinity,
now fearless of love’s massive depth and height,
Love pacifies my heart’s rude raging sea,
encompassing me in your love so tight.

As heaven shines her fervent light today,
our endless love burns brighter every day.
