A note of interest:

The kaleidoscope, captured perfectly in your poem, has long been a favorite toy of children. Today the originals are one of the most sought after items, by collectors. Modern kaleidoscopes are built with beauty and style to lure the collector. Some come in gorgeous top grain leather cases, or polished wooden boxes of cherry, walnut and other exotic woods. A far different type then the cardboard tubes of yesteryear. There are thousands of assorted sizes and styles available.
Our greatest illusion is to think others see us as we believe ourselves to be.

Thanks so very much Mango.. Misty... Jolie...and Sator:
Your comments are always a joy to read. thank you for taking the time to read and review.

Sator: I had no idea that they made such elaborate kaleidoscopes Thank you for that bit of info. I always thought they were so beautiful to look into. The patterns and shapes were breathtaking. And now that I know (thanks to you) they make newer ones I'll have to check some of them out.

Thanks all of you. your reviews are gratefully appreciated.

Blessings
