That lights up the darkness of night,
Send me a memory without many scars
That'll seem to appear in my sight.

Read me a story of winters and springs
Of babies, a husband and wife,
Read me a picture of everyday things
A picture of everyday life.

Help me have patience with all of my dreams
I see within my frail mind,
Help me to look into all of these things
Now that I'm old and so blind.

ah.. i often journey through woods just to gather my feelings... some times i fall into the awesomeness of nature... other times i just reflect on the sounds and surroundings....
anyways... your write reminded me of a time that i went wading through a stream to a river with friends of mine... we went along for maybe two miles.... and it was such a hot day out, when in the water we really appreciated the coolness of it....
