Could it be the distant moon
That sweetens the night
That softens the slight
Of daylight?

Or is it the moonlight
That softens my heart
That coddles the start
Of insight?

Moon, in sky, remains objective;
Moonlight: intimate, reflective.

Moon and moonlight,
Silver lining, faithful friend.

One over my shoulder
One on my skin.

Welcome to PIC, hope to read more from you

Nightlife calls me.
Through her I am free.
It's the only way to be,
all caught up in a mystery!
Born with full moon fever,
I can make you a believer!
For I am the moonchild,
truly born to be wild!

Love the way you set up the words for the separation of "light"
