This is just a collection of cinquains about things right now in my life....

Believe-
when all seems lost,
when all is without hope,
when all others give up trying;
hang on.

Tarnished-
is my blind trust;
I no longer can hope.
My former rosy illusions
are gone.


Sorry-
So much can be
packed in so small a word.
Yet it can also mean little.
What's true?

Forgive-
easy to say,
but always hard to do.
It is hard to cast off the hurt,
but try.

Conflict-
tears you inside
questions pull at your mind.
The answer is so elusive
no peace.

Sadness-
the tears fall down:
I curse its existence.
Why does it plague my tired soul
this way?

Dear Ms Mango,

This is an absolutely stunning collection of heartfelt, raw, and real emotion. I can relate to all the words you chose to scribe about. The poems themselves are flawless, beautifully crafted, and beautifully executed. One can "feel" the words from each Cinquain Ms Mango. Additionally it is ironic that it is like reading my life as well. If I were to quote I would quote the entire selection. The Cinquain titled "Sorry" is so true when you scribed that so much can be packed in so small a word... The Cinquain titled "Sadness" is my anthem at times. Each is so unique. I read this collection over and over, and is going in my favorites. Thank you for sharing this outstanding collection with us Ms Mango, and I hope that your life becomes rosier day by day. We feel to some degree what you feel because we all really care about each other on this site so many blessings to you Ms Mango.
