[Bear]

Nature’s Majestic Scenery
~
High in the oak tree a majestic bald eagle sits
Perched on the top branch, it’s eyes scanning
Painstakingly eyeing the small crystal blue lake
As the tangerine sun sets in the crystal blue sky
The reflection on the clear rippling water
~
The soft sounds of crickets, tiny tree frogs and bees
Floods the warm delicate summer breeze
With their soothing nocturnal enchanting song
As they hide cloaked by the living swamp
While the aroma of an unforgiving nature
~
Overpowers the fresh fragrance of flowers,
Ferns, and wild lemon grass
Still an eagle whose keen eyes sees everything
Waits patiently for the tiny creatures
To come to the water that preserves life
~

As the sky starts to progress to a dark purple end
An eagle with it’s dark feathers and white head
Waltzes in the night’s warm breeze
The dark shadow suddenly swoops downward
As the deadly setting sun rays captures
The shadow of the eagles nightly dinner
~
Soaring up to the treetops with it’s dinner
The eagle’s majestic silhouette is framed
By the setting tangerine sun

What a beautiful, superb poem. The title alone tells it all. Mother Nature would be proud of the way you have described her and her creatures.
I certainly was memorized by every word in every line.
The imagery was flawless. I had to read it many times I loved it Bear!
