SEASON'S CHANGE ~ OTTAVA RIMA

Autumn fades to winter then blooms to spring
and in between a tick shines summer sun.
The season's change as fast as bird’s take wing.
Seems just as one begins it’s almost done,
then back around again with one more swing
as the hands of time are fast-forward spun.
Whether crimson leaves, flurries, sun or rain,
each season has a walk down nature’s lane.

Nightlife calls me.
Through her I am free.
It's the only way to be,
all caught up in a mystery!
Born with full moon fever,
I can make you a believer!
For I am the moonchild,
truly born to be wild!

Hi Karen, a very pleasant, balmy stroll through the seasons. Haven't seen many Ottava Rima poems outside of the Sonetto Rispetto form. You've done nicely with this.

Hey KAREN - this poem is so lovely - It would look fantastic as a featured on the NEW JPiC Affiliate site GreetingsGalleryOnline.com --- Really though - the images you present really do personify the seasons and especially are representative of the picture you posted with... Which would be wonderful to present on GreetingsGalleryOnline.com as well --- Did you make the image too?

Lovely work = Thanx for sharing it!

Jacquii.

In fact...... Since I was working in my graphics program.... With your permission - I would love to put this card in the Poetry section of GreetingsGalleryOnline.com --- Eventually - I'll be announcing the GGO and will be putting a new section on JPiC specifically for the showcasing of poetry on greeting cards...

Let me know what you think

Jacquii.

ps - Once again - beautiful nature poem and the ottava rima format really worked nicely!

I love this, it brings a sense of warmth as you move through the seasons, whether physically, or emotionally.

Oh I think it's a great idea MsJacquii
and I'd be honored to be featured there!
I didn't do the artwork though and I'm
not sure who did. Thanks so much for
this opportunity to be featured among so many talented authors(hugs)
BTW...the poem looks great!

Moonchild - I love the poem as it takes us through each season, and especially when combined with the love graphics above...they are my favorite kind of art...

lovely work Karen!
