There's a unique tension with the dead leaf and the green grass. I love the illustration as well. I feel there's a defiance against death in the message because the dead leaf is still above ground and possibly still being blowed by the wind because it won't settle for decay. Interesting and I'm going to read it some more. You truly scratched my mind with this radiant write Moonchild.
