Default The Sins Of The Father deborahinwi Started This Thread
Does a child truly pay
for the sins of their father?
The fate handed them
can not be changed?
For if there is no escape
my soul is surely dammed.
And I stare into
the face of an uncaring God
consigned to un-ending hell.
For tears that fell on blinded eye
and cries on deafened ear,
the child's heart that stood alone
'midst mocking hate and scorn.

The child pays dearly
for hidden crimes committed
Years that pass in silent pain
are returned a thousand fold.

Wow,
Isn't that the truth.
The child is born being judged.

He'll follow in his fathers footsteps. That kind of stuff runs in the family.
I've heard them, and who are they to judge.
They probably ruin the child with their criticism.

There's much truth to this.
Much insight. I can relate as I'm
dealing with this kind of thing too.
You express it very good here.
An excellent write!

Smack in the face truth and you penned it in a way that makes it even more alive. Great work here.
