Vibrant Forest

She ran in silver toe sandals
into the forest, arms high – chin up,
leaped stone to stone
cross the moonlight lake
spinning circles every third stone.
Hands cupped on mouth forcing voice
to ancient glimmer stone
whose reflection glows
through dark twisted vines.

Through the massive archway
of giant spiders in fossilized amber rocks
A florescent moon, black lights on Eden.
Pick a purple apple,
crunch, crunch, crunch.
Slay the serpent,
sign the dagger,
inhale zephyr forest spirit
from steaming magenta pools.

Silky mane on winged leopard steed,
carousel sky trolley to deep forest.
Bounce across a bongo bridge.
Left foot back, two hops foreword
double count, keep time
spring up, high bounce.
Ring a moon symbol.
