Waiting for the end
As the time passes me by
Death my only friend

His ear I do bend
Wishes from my mind now fly
Waiting for the end

No longer pretend
Do not even want to try
Death my only friend

Heart that will not mend
As slowly my feelings die
Waiting for the end

No payments to lend
For a weakened soul to buy
Death my only friend

Give up my ghost, my spirit, to the grave I send
Looking forward to being swept up to the sky
