I smile at her.
Do you remember this night?
She’s sleeping, dreaming of a life.

We wrote a poem that night.
I read to her.
Do you remember the words?
She’s fishing, casting a lure.

I sent a wish to her.
I hope it came true.
Do you remember the star?
It’s shooting, across the sky.

I showed a picture to her
I found in a box.
Why are you so sad, I asked?
She’s wishing, I was there.

Ahh Jolie ..... Very very lovely..... brings me back to when I was younger ....looking at pics of my mothers childhood. *sighs.... * Do you know when I visited the french quarter in New Orleans..... I had flashbacks to an earlier time ....... as a child. But my parents had never been there. I also had flashbacks to being a woman of ..... well can't say ill repute .... I was well sought after.... I was french and dark haired but alabaster skinned, flashing eyes full of fire and passion. I was running away through an area that when I was there a few years ago was old and run down. Tall buildings..... apartments. Anyways I digress. I love this write of yours Jolie. Brings back memories. Thank you hon.
