I was looking for a picture, to make my pen stand up.
And when I saw this beauty, I knew I would not foul-up.

Think of me as a lover, of the little things in life.
The things we overlook, having nothing to do with strife.

One day, oh, many moons ago, I saw a little boy.
Upon his daddy's lap he sat, smiling, and filled with joy.

The daddy touched his little cheek, and smiled, and hugged the child.
His eyes, they showed the love he had, his manner was so mild.

I watched as the daddy put his hankerchief under the little boy's chin.
He put on the child's plate, food from his plate, so eating it now could begin.

So often we hear of the bad things children bare, but here was a loving man.
I cannot explain, how this scene made me feel, but love for this man, it began.

Such is the way that life, it should be, caring and sharing with those that we love.
Almighty God in His special way, He sends us His love, it comes from above.

They'll come a time, in some of our lives, that we'll want to show, God's way is the best
So, hug all your children, family, friends, don't be afraid it's time to attest.
