Have you looked upon
the yesterday,
of dreams that fell apart
have you gazed out on
the moon lit sky,
and wonder will I start?
is it too late, really too late
to start afresh and new,
are you asking yourself
just one question,
what do I have to do?

A nice short write Tham! Reminds me of a trio of pieces I started which shined light on "yesterday, yesteryear and the now"-- yes indeed - deeply reflective as Morning Star stated. A pensive piece which makes ya go, "hmmmm - I wonder..."

Nice piece. Thanks for the sharing

J.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Hi there, Tham;
I too have had my share of unrealized dreams, but one keeps on going. That's life, and I can only echo your pensive words. A short but effective poem. Glad I had a chance to read it.
