Default Spark Your Creativity #5 (Seasonal Parody Challenge)
OK Poetic Peoples - With only 7 days left till Christmas day - The JPiC Moderating Team has come up with an additional fun Seasonal Challenge for you! Thanx to MS KIM & others for the idea!

CHALLENGE:
The 12 Days of Christmas - JPiC STYLE

Drawing your inspiration from the Christmas song "Twelve Days of Christmas" -- each one of us should be familiar with that horribly horrid song -- construct a 12 line parody poem beginning with the 12th day (ending with the 1st) & based on the same stucture as the original song.

Of course - parody poems are meant to be hilariously humorous & slap-my-knee-funny... AND obviously a parody poem based on the 12 Days of Christmas should most definitely end with something smashing (instead of the traditional...and a Partridge in a Peartree) line. ---- For instance I recently heard a song aptly entitled "The Twelve Drugs of Christmas" - I think the last line was "... and a joint filled with ECSTACY"

So have fun constructing, writing & being ABSOLUTELY INSANE with your writes LOL --- It's a parody poem after all - right?

Enjoy - Happy holidays AND Happy posting.
AND Merry Christmas... JPiC STYLE!

JPiC Moderating Team

Erik! That doesn't sound like a very merry Christmas at all! It does have a ring of truth to it though!

On a happier note, here is my attempt:

The Twelve Days of Christmas - JPic Style!

On the twelfth day of Christmas my JPic gave to me,
Twelve poets musing,
Eleven lyrics rhyming,
Ten writers cramping,
Nine members posting,
Eight Mods deleting,
Seven stories telling,
Six pics a-waiting,
Five V.I.P's,
Four challenges,
Three PM's
Two contributors
and a forum full of GOOD FRIENDS!
