Milk Chocolate of a Man
I don’t know you yet because you elude me.
You have a face that I yearn to see.
Your body is delightful from what I can tell.
Oh, and that cologne has a sensual smell.
You are strong n muscular, with thick lips.
Ooh I love your chest with all those dips.
You are extremely tall, towering over me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be
You come again and again, showing only parts
Even though we haven’t met, you’ve stolen my heart
I can feel your heartbeat radiating there
To be invisible is more than I can bear
Your chest is hairy, your face clean cut
You have nice tight thighs, and a firm little butt
You’re extremely handsome, when you smile at me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be
I can’t wait to dream, to see you again
Those thick eye brows and detailed chin
My prince charming you must be
Cause whenever I sleep you capture me
I’m engulfed in your words, and gentle kiss
When I’m awake, it’s YOU I miss
You’re so passionate, and in love with me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be
How much more pain can a woman take
You need to be real, but dreams are fake
My prince charming when will you come
Throw yourself into me and give me some
Some of your time, and your attention
Some of that pure heart, I forgot to mention
You’re so perfect, cause you’re digging me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be
You’re not scared to show love for me
Arms around my waist for all to see
I can sit on your lap, snuggle anywhere
Or kiss you passionately in public, you wouldn’t care
You hold my hand, you touch my face
You suck on my neck almost any place
I look into your eyes, when you make love with me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be
A milk chocolate of a man you just gotta be
Cause in my dreams that all I see
Is milk chocolate from head to toe
Fine as wine, just so you know
Oh, how I wish, that we could meet
I want to lick your body, to see if you’re sweet
Can you curb my cravings if I let you in?
I want you to come again and again.
A milk chocolate of a man you just gotta be
A milk chocolate of a man, just for me.

Re: Milk Chocolate of a Man
Okay. I must now have my very own milk chocolate man! This poem was just delightful to read. A bit confusing in spots, as we try to decide if this milk chocolate man is a dream, a figment of one's imagination or perhaps an actual reality...but delightful none-the-less as I personal dream of being wrapped up in my soulmates loving arms again.
Thanks for the sharing
Jacquii.

Re: Milk Chocolate of a Man
I felt like you were describing me until you said tall and hairy lol j/k This is lovely, one thing that often eludes me is romantic/love poems. So I credit you for this beautiful piece. Had to quick quote this stanza cause I really enjoyed this part "How much more pain can a woman take
You need to be real, but dreams are fake
My prince charming when will you come
Throw yourself into me and give me some
Some of your time, and your attention
Some of that pure heart, I forgot to mention
You’re so perfect, cause you’re digging me
A milk chocolate of a man, you just gotta be"
This poem is like a jill scott song. Thank you for the read.

Re: Milk Chocolate of a Man
I rather enjoyed this piece also. I loved the feel of {is this reality or not} type of read. Some spots made me daydream a bit of my own "imaginary milk chocolate of a man"..lol....then I came to, and realized I am reading a poem, and there is no man..hahaha...so I kept reading. Each stanza is a layering like a painting uncovering your dream man, your imaginary man, or perhaps your future milk chocolate of a man. Thank you for the read, and for the few moments of wishful thinking.

Re: Milk Chocolate of a Man
Milk Chocolate Man: A romance story involving black magic and Nesquik.
Anyway, the entire poem I was thinking, "giggity", but then after that, I got to thinking. It's weird how we always make the "perfect ideal" in our head...so, do you wait until you meet that "one" that you imagined in your head, or do you settle for less, and is it really less?
Also, if you really met your ideal, would you be their ideal? That's always what goes through my mind. Anyway, this was good shit, thank you.
