Ode To Passion

Such passion lies between soft thighs
of beauty’s earthly form.
Her blossomed lips and sculpted hips
my hungry eyes adorn.
For sweet caress of rose-bud breast
O I would gladly die,
to be reborn in misted dawn
with love’s departing sigh.

Hey ATHLONE!

1. Welcome to the Community - if you so desire, please introduce yourself via the Member Introductions section.

2. I AM LOVING THIS POEM - such exquisite intimacy. Lust? Possibly. Lewd? NEVER. Love? Such a broad definition of that word - I dare not answer LOL - But truly:

The Following Text Is Quoted:
Her blossomed lips and sculpted hips
my hungry eyes adorn.
Seems you've sculped your poem to perfection. Makes my hungry eyes THIRST... Very nice 1st piece to share with the Community!

I enjoyed this one very much!
Thanx,

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Great imagery...kept me drinking each word and vision in deeply. That's what a poem is supposed to do and I love this one.
