I’ve seen your wheels spinning round, doing what you thought
Black streaks writing everywhere including in your heart
Such pain you’ve carried in your life, I can not apprehend
Why you cherish hostility, is bitterness your game?

I’ve brushed some bitter tragedies of life when bitter cold
I’ve foreseen the writings of hate and pain hoping they’d regain
I worked across this nation, felt the fear of things to come
Walked and talked the messages, some never have dreamt of

You’ve seen pieces of my easel, torn and tossed against the wind
Gray paintings, blue paintings, splashes of sunshine held within
But, most of all the drawings, I truly hope this time you’ll find
My Love for you, I give to you, without thinking once or twice…
