Supposing there was a man who did not believe in intuition, but only logic.
This man met another man who was able to predict events, or find the inner truth of things based merely on intuition. The logical man observed that the intuitive man was correct about such things, say, 90 percent of the time, while pure logical hypothesis was right, let’s say, 88 percent of the time.
Now logic would tell one that in sources of information one should choose the higher percentage to find the answers. Yet, this goes against the logical man’s belief in logic, in that, since the intuitive man’s predictions are not made using logic, they are by that fact not a useful source of information. However, the logical man’s firm belief in logic actually goes against the logical principle, to go with the higher percentage.
