Saxophone Love Series Parts (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X)

I plan to do artwork to compliment the poems in Sepia Ink, and a light wash, for that beautiful, antique, and rustic feel, and in oils, and oil pastels, and a few sculptures. I also plan to do something completely different and new for me that will be a few large pieces, done with black velvet, paint, and recycled glass. In mind at the moment, is to try to capture on canvas the "Soul" , or "Spirit", of the Saxophone, if you will. I also plan to put the Instrument Erotica Poems on a CD with music. Enjoy!

Saxophone Love I

Friday night was Jazz Night
at the Blue Bongo Club
down on 57th Street

He started blowin' bout'
three Fridays ago, and
his presence alone would
give one pause.

Me and the girls went
eve'ry Friday night, but
that Friday was different

Between deep Tenor breaths,
he looked at me,
like I belonged to him

After the gig was over,
he asked me to stay

He seemed to know that
I wanted to feel the
stiffness of his brass___horn

Alone, we talked, we danced
then he pulled out his______brass
it felt so good in my hands

Cool, erect, and smooth
to my touch, he titillated me
oh so gently

I tasted and in and out
and out and in
my mouth moistened for more

He threw his head back
to partake of my...
performance and smiled

When done
we both agreed
I needed to take...

Saxophone Love II

Naughty thoughts glisten
in the wild vibration of his horn
he shines like a star
from Heaven’s jewelry box
and placed in my onyx sky
I bask in his Jazz – illiance

His music takes me back…
yeah….back to
back yard barbecue’s,
double-dutchin’,
cornrows between Mama’s legs,
and the first fire ignited
in the furnace between mine

Nothin prepared me for…his
smooth sounds
the way he wets…
his lips
and plays…me

Our silhouette blushes
at smooth sounds
I make till dawn

on his Saxophone

Saxophone Love III

Eyes closed; hips bumpin’
Davis and Coltrane saxin’
Bass beats to my feet

Jukebox spillin’ hot
Honey-soakin' my insides
With brass love notes

My Sax Man took stage
My universe stopped to touch
Each of his exhales

Jazzical foreplay
Prodding my musical spots
I don’t care who sees

My sax induced hands satisfying…me

Saxophone Love IV (Cinquain)

Blowin’
I undulate
Brass Galaxies jouncing
Stars titter; shine on us softly
After

Saxophone Love V

His mouth fills up with thoughts of me
reminiscing as if my thighs were joined with jazz
till he belts an oh so long
smooth sound from his saxophone.

He blows down the ride of my breasts
up the arch of my spine
into the crest of my thighs.

When the song is over
he licks his lips oh so sweetly
to get a second wind...
to play me again.

Saxophone Love VI

His rhythm (so ancient
and reminiscent
of a Jamaican jazz serenade)
paralyzes me to the depths
of an unwanted cadaver
longing for freedom...

I cannot resist his melody
No! I do not want to stop.

He pushes his brass horn in my ___ face
releasing sweet sensual notes
at a time.

I cannot help being captivated
till I scream, till I chime.

This cannot be the last song
I wanted him to play another melody…

…harder
.… faster
….stronger.

I feasted with such a robust thirst
(his brass a labor of wanting)
'til jazz covered me...

I'm covered with.... Jazz.

Saxophone Love VII

Moistened my lips to reciprocate his melody
took his brass horn in my hands
and began to____ blow ____ gently
till he no longer could resist my invitation to
compose a duet ___ privately.

We waxed and waned like the painted moon,
we ebbed and flowed with exquisite
harmony like the tides of the Nile
till his precious jazz replenished my bayou
one note at a time.

Saxophone Love VIII

Opened my window
sounds of the night float in
a misty cool zephyr
arousing my peanut butter skin.

A silhouette
my beautiful Moroccan man
divinely reclining,
fingers gently caressing his
ebony brass sax.

Mouth moistens delicate tones
blowing sweet air with tremble
stroke every note of me.

I cannot resist.

I want more.

I taste every C-clef; the tenor
aged like my collection of fine wine
fermented from sweet Pinar del Rio vines,
pulls me up slowly
improvising jazz between my thighs.

Afterward, a misty cool zephyr
tickles my dampened peanut butter skin
as we lay in each other’s arms
listening to the sounds
of the night float in.

Saxophone Love IX - Cinquain

Sweet wind
exhales from brass
notes dance la reverie
flesh pulsating, as I murmur
his name.

Saxophone Love X

Dress poured over my curves
ebbs and flows with la musica
my eyes closed
my skin, moist
my hips
meandering freely

Suddenly, I hear echoes
clock strikes midnight
room now filled
with a tenor soliloquy
prearranged for two
amber wind fades
into silence

Shadows
of this midnight rendezvous
reveal a smooth, shiny,
erect, and ready…
saxophone

Touching me there
on my slightly wet__lips
I accept the invitation
as I slumber deep

Mouthpiece
to my glossed lips
I blow softly
tasting him

He plays one more
libidinous time
note after note
indeed we entwine
to a rhythmic
symphony sublime

Oh…how I love the Saxophone

African Drum Love I

Safari pounds in my pelvis
like a rhythmic Tanzanian ritual
fit for an African Queen

My desire unleashes a thunderous dance
I scream, I sweat, I sing
to his covetous hands_beating

As wild as vibrations can withstand
his African Drum resonates with me
with the grace of a supermodel and
as fast as a famished cheetah

I can no longer stand
nor can I saunter
I simply lay_pulsating

to the forbidden echo
of his African Drum

African Drum Love II

The sound of the chuckling sky
is different tonight
I feel his pulse from a distance
the bass of his beat beads my blood
awakening my crave-able places

Dancing from inside out spontaneously
I spread for him like the fine goatskin
stretched atop his hardwood Djembe

The scent of lust fills our immediate air
bare hands beat to the bass
with the flesh of his palms, I gyrate higher
intricately weaving a rhythmic tapestry

A nearby Black Mamba seems to sway
to our mating song while
Tigers; now paper, seem to nestle
to our private silhouette

When he sojourned
his African Drum
the morning sun kissed us tenderly
as I slumber deep

April 2007 Copyright (c) Kimberly D. Robinson

African Drum Love III

From his first beat
gazelle run at top speed
Secretary Birds
take majestic flight

Ivory shining
from the Elephant's stance
my thighs moist
with a sinful fragrance
from the language of his
African Drum

Calloused are his hands
from caressing such supple skin
when these hands of my secret lover
touch me there, they are as soft
as African Shea Butter

Inclusively he drums
till I tremor
again and again and again
from deep within

Ebony legs drape over his shoulders
like strings of onyx pearls
drumming inside my mine
as if excavating
the finest Kimberley diamonds

Omnipotent, his Djembe,
with seismic vibrations
that makes Mount Kilimanjaro's
liquid fire rise to the occasion

Our tribal music together
becomes but an echo
as single tears rolls down
each side of his
African Drum

Dear Kim,

When I first joined JPiC and saw the odd single poem in this series, I did not like it. Then I read I think one other, and knew that I really had to see the whole series, as in cadres they have quite a different impact, and I do admire how you manage to write so innocently while being good old down and dirty sexy.

I can't wait for I - IV !

Dear Alan,

I am so happy, you gave my series a second chance, lol. I had fun putting it together. I am currently writing the poems I through IV, for the Saxxy Series. Also I am doing "My Piano" poems III through V (as I have posted I and II), and "My Guitar" poems II through V (as I have posted poem I). Am also doing art work (Paintings (Oils & Sepia Ink & Wash), Charcoal & Oil Pastel), and all poetry to be done in Calligraphy perhaps, as well as Sculptures to compliment. I hope to have an Art / Poetry show soon. Thank you for taking time to read and comment, as I am honored.

Whew! I don't think I better comment this one Kim!...it might go up in flames...hehe.. Moroccan, huh? I'm partial to the tall Spanish senores myself, but you play that bronze note of musical marvel so deliciously!! I got chills!!

Seriously, though...these, like the preceeding Sax Series, are absolutely heavenly!! Cloud 10 heavenly!
