My thoughts: who wants a friggin lasagna?
Thought the 1st tag poem would be as example
Didn't realize the 1st wasn't good enough....
As stated in the rules though (and I quote - because I like quotes)
  • It is ok to tag a member who has previously participated in the same poem.
  • It is ok for two people to tag one another back and fourth until a poem is complete.

At anyrate - KIM & KIT wanted to tag each other back and forth.... KEWL DEAL. Hopefully the next tag poem will be inclusive. And if you haven't been tagged = GET OVER IT! write a poem about inclusivity or some shyt LOL......

Jacquii.

ps - if anyone of you said you do want lasagna - Sorry - I'm not in the sharing mood
And what you can do for me is beyond the Community atmosphere that has been created here at JPiC AND

pps - nice comment MS MANGO

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Dance of Death
The stench of decay succumbs the sunset
Noctum creatures emerge on the battlefield
The hallows of my soul face turbulence
Shadow people beg for center stage

Ninja warrior grabs ink and parchment
Sword of light to combat darkness
Grey moves in diffusing lightness
Thunder rolls down hill and dale

Lightning etched warrior ink
Master's swords burn brimstone words
Darkness pays homage to principles of life
Cadavers dangle on crest of a pallid moon

Wizard and sorcerer’s apprentice slip
Into the vale of dark’s delight
Shadow dancing with evil’s spawns
Heart’s desire burning in the cold pale night

Curfew brakes and corpses gather
to celebrate fair creatures fall.
Blood embossed on yellowed satin
kiss the wilted features nigh.

Jer Wrap it up please.
Jolie

Very intriguing poem - Very dark poem
A nice write really - kinda scary - but well done!
Great job on Tag Poem #2 Poets!
I think MS MANGO will want to start the Tag #3
I will PM her to let her know.
I will also post the Tag #2 in the Miscellaneous section.

Again - Great job!

Jacquii.

Default Re: Collaboration Game: Tag Poetry
Tag Poetry Rules:

1. I start a poem with four lines. Then I will "tag" a Member by posting "Tag [membername] - You're It For Tag Poetry"

2. I will then send the tagged Member a Private Message via the PM System telling them they have been tagged to participate in Tag Poetry.
Note: Please put the Tag Poetry link in the PM
Example Tag: Tag MsJacquiiC - You're It For Tag Poetry: Collaboration Game: Tag Poetry

3. The Member tagged will then copy the previous lines into the next thread post, leaves a space between the stanzas, and then adds their four lines

4. At the end of their lines that Member will then "tag" the next member by posting "Tag [membername] - You're It For Tag Poetry" after their four lines. The Member should then send the tagged Member a Private Message via the PM System telling them they have been tagged to participate in Tag Poetry.

5. The next Member copies the previous 8 lines of poetry and adds their four lines... and so on until the Member with lines 17 through 20 (the 5th stanza of each tag poem)

6. The Member who ends up doing lines 17 thru 20 (the 5th stanza) has to add their four lines and tag the last person with the words... "Tag [membername] - Wrap it up please!"
** This let's the last tagged Member know that their stanza will be ending the poem **

Extra Guidelines:

1. A little math: Each Tag Poem will have a total of 24 lines AND 6 participating Members.
2. The Member who starts the tag poem gives it a title and a theme if necessary.
3. The Member who starts a tag poem must also post the rules again in the post he or she starts.
4. All participating Members must stick to the given theme.
5. You must notify the tagged Member by sending a PM - otherwise they may not know they have been tagged.
6. If the next Member tagged doesn't respond in 3 days the previous Member tags someone else.
7. It is ok to tag a member who has previously participated in the same poem.
8. It is ok for two people to tag one another back and fourth until a poem is complete.

In the place where sanctuary once was known
Where she hid all her thoughts, her smiles, her prayers
Where she first learned to dance, to sing, to laugh

So i'm supposed to add four lines right? Tell me if its something else

The Hidden Place

Rainbow jewels flit through where she once sat
In the place where sanctuary once was known
Where she hid all her thoughts, her smiles, her prayers
Where she first learned to dance, to sing, to laugh

Her eyes glittered from the reflection she had seen
The dream that led her to this magical place
Where all you needed was there already
And the utmost importance was hidden in smiles
