Tag Poetry # 9

Indelible

Your scent is just as I remember
ever ripe with fire's wanton glow ignites
tastes of wild ginger; forbidden nectar sweet
my breath escapes at a dangerous pace.

a kiss of taste on the lips of love
sends glorious tingles through the night
appetites of longing hearts draw breathless sighs
and begin to warm the senses in endless fire.

such a treat - melting in to the tropic,
shimmeringly almondesque pools of his eyes
(sensual window to the soul some say - I say love)
He's smiling a flame and I can look at him forever.

JPiCans I must apologize for the Tag Poetry delay - Those of you familiar with the ever-popular NCAA Basketball tournaments will know what March Madness is... Well I have a whole new definition for March Madness:

The Following Text Is Quoted:

March Madness: Anytime in the month of March when whatever CAN go wrong, DOES go wrong; not to be confused with perfect, sunny afternoon when the lemonade is fine & smoothe and the fishin' is easy...

At anyrate - my March Madness arrived on February 14 - no doubt a little earlier than usual. So yeah - Got a bit sidetracked as far as Tag Poetry is concerned. But NO WORRIES - I am going to add my lines in just a moment - and we are gonna continue making brilliant poetry together!

canine at the foot of the bed with pen and pad
taking note of technique and performance
waggles front paw and says, "eh! could've been better!"

--- you told me something about the laughing dog MS GAIL - but I tell ya - I think the ending of this poem ROX!!!!!!!!!!!! How many times have I taken deep breath, sighed, then whispered to self how the halo could have been just a bit brigher
