Okies, so the Christmas season is coming...and I'm a bit short on pocket money and whatnot...

I'm just offering hats and scarves for sale :]

You can customize your scarf.

I can do hand knitted scarves quickly-a day at most. It should be about 10-15 dollars accordingly.

Crocheted scarves take much longer, and are much more expensive. Depends on length and style.

Hats are crocheted-you can ask for a certain style, or if you find a style you like on the internet, just show me to it, and I can probably make it :]

I'd post some pictures up, except for the fact that my camera at the moment has been stolen. If you are interested, just give me a PM, and I'd be glad to talk to you :]

Help a poor kid in need?

omg omg omg!!! I say HUGGLES all the time...and....

ahh!! A HUGGLES SMILIE!!!!

How interesting - I once had a very very nice camera and it was stolen too
Anyway - interesting offer MS MANGO - I just may consider - but I ask how tight is the croquet weave? I'd be interested in maybe a purple and silver with a short visor/brim (like tennis cap) and a ball on top like the Dude from South Park. It would have to be tightly weaved - but definitely a larger size also cause I like to wear tobogans really low...

How much would be the estimate?

I'll see if I can find a pic online....

OK - The shape I'm going for is the same as this one
I love the short visor/brim - Would you be able to make something similar?

ALSO - I'd like the pompom ball on top like this one:

And I'm actually thinking I'd like it in a nice denim blue knit

mmmhmmm. sounds fun-only problem is that I don't knit like that xD
well. i could commission someone to, if you really want that type of hat. I only crochet hats-I haven't gotten around to learning how to knit hats... xD

BUT I have made a crocheted hat, somewhat similar. It's basically a beanie with a 1/2 visor front :]

pom poms though, I could do.
I could send you one free over the mail if you really want one xD

I read and reread your post - now I get it lol - there's a diff'rence between knit and crochet? I thought it was the same - my fault then.... So what's the difference between crochet and knit - can you do anything similar to the lil girl pic? That would be kinda nice especially if it's as large as the one in the pic.

mmhmm there is a difference between knit and crochet-
crochet has more distinct stitches, while knitting is more like cloth.
but, i could perhaps make a hat very similar to the 1st pic.
hmm. purple and silver?
where am i gonna find silver yarn?!
lol.

mmhmm. and hats take me a while, but i can't do them in my sleep like i do scarves xD

Well YOU offered
Oh and I mean gray Dodo bird LOL --- Purple and gray...
But then I saw the 1st pic and thought the hat'd look really good with my denim jacket - So I'd require a denim color - Seriously though - you think you can make something like the 1st with the short visor intact? If you can I'd be interested!

Ms J...... Knitting uses two needles.. long pointed needles..... Crochet uses only one hooked needle. I do both knit and Crochet.. am gonna have to upload my afghans I have done to computer .. and pics of the sweaters I have designed and created. I much prefer to crochet because .... it is faster and looks amazing You will see when I get my pics uploaded to my website. will work on that on monday.

PS....... it looks like the hat in that pic is Knitted. Both of them are knitted.

mmhmm Yes MsJ-what Mysty says is true :]
It IS knitted, thus my problem, but I COULD do something with a visor like that-it's quite easy.

mmhmm. and yeah, I like crocheting too. Easier to make patterns and things :]
i started making a crocheted horse once....
i got the front half done xD
