Since zaac was having a problem downsizing and posting pics, I have done the picture part for him. Hopefully now, a poem about this little sweetheart will follow!

my heart and soul lie
behind mischief laughing deep within your smile
warming my world for eternity

Goodness...what a beautiful little girl!!!!! I love that red hair. She is a beauty and I hope to see a poem beautiful enough to go with her...that will be hard to do...absolutely stunning little girl. I know you are proud of her.

Just to keep in topic of poetry...here's a poem inspired by one of my young'uns.

I smiled today

It has been so long since I have smiled
It seems it has been forever and a day
The mask I wear has a phony smile
But I had a genuine smile today.

The smile came through the telephone
She called needing to talk to me
I didn't know that I needed to hear
I needed that so desperately.

The telephone handset distorted her voice
But still her love came thundering through
The smile I had today is three years old
And she said ‘Daddy, I love you’
