Glossary Term of the Day:

A poem praising God or the divine, often sung. In English, the most popular hymns were written between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Charles Wesley’s “My God! I Know, I Feel Thee Mine,” excerpted below is a hymn written in the early 18th century.
