Hey everyone,

My name is Ana, I was born in Portugal, but now live in the UK. I have been living in the UK, for 16 years.

I stumbled across this forum, via an Advertising Forum. I saw a message of Jacquiis in a post, about by passing 800 posts, and inviting all Writers/Poets to the site. I took a look, and I was very impressed with what I saw, and am still seeing. I also checked out Jacquiis Web Designing work, and applaude her on it.

I am a writer but, I don't write for a living. I have always enjoyed writing since a young age, so write mainly for enjoyment. At times, I find that writing is a gateway to my emotions, and who I am, so I write because a part of me unveils, and that makes me feel content.

Looking forward to checking out the threads.

Welcome, Ana! It's good to have another writer join our ranks! I'm not sure how many professionals post here but am willing to bet that most of the members here are just like you, including myself, lol.

This is a great place to grow as a writer. I, also, write for enjoyment and to reveil my inner self! I'm looking forward to reading your work in the future!

Pleased to know there are other people who write for fun, like myself.

I am a member of another Writing forum(not visited in ages) which, is a hub for professional writers, who write for a living. There I felt slightly out of place, as I don't write for a living, and don't have any goals.

It's always nice to find a different kind of creative site, which is open to everyone.

Hey ANA! And welcome to the JPiC Community - I'm so happy you found the Forum! And yes - as GAIL's said - we have all types of Writers, Poets & Artistes on JPiC, and from all over the world too - I think that's what makes the Community such a special one, that we from all walks of life can come together in celebration of literature and creating literature.

I myself have been published a few times in print mags and in online journals/zines - but mostly I'm a hobbyist writer. So it's definitely nice to welcome another hobbyist writer to the Community

And thank you so very much for your nice compliments about the Forum - Always lovely to hear flattery for what I and the JPiC Moderating Team have created here!

Your site's concept, sounds a lot like mine in regards to coming together and celebrating a part or a whole of something we love.

My honest pleasure on the comments, I can see from all your work, that you put a lot of energy and love into these creations.
