Hi Daz!
Nice to have you here with us! We are mostly all amateurs here who just enjoy sharing what we enjoy writing. There are some published authors here - but I am not one of them! If you are wondering about what or how to respond to a poets work, check out the comments at this link:

We are a most friendly bunch, so if you need help with anything, just ask! Pop into the chatbox or leave a PM - either way will get you help, FAST!

Again, WELCOME, and looking forward to reading you!

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
