Heartbroken...

I had a friend,
A nice young man,
We laugh, talk, shared our problems with each other,
But, later found out that he liked another,
How could he say "I love you",
But all he did was broke my heart into two.

Now to mend my heart I have to continue to stay confident in myself,
And put my hurt and pain on the shelf,
So I can make room for someone real and true
This time around this one will be my real "boo" !!! ;-)

Yes - wonderful introduction and Welcome to JPiC ---- Please check your PM and respond - as I'm quite interested in your answer

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
