Hello, everyone. My name is Victoria, but my site name is mrsmajor. I would like to introduce myself. I am an older woman, retired. Taught school for a time in New York and also owned a Catering and Event planning company. At present my time is spent writing poetry and short stories.

I enjoy the different forms, Sestina, Terzanelle, Cinquain, Quatrain and of course free verse.

Although I have been registered on the site since last october, I plan on being active now.

I will read others as much as I can, and I am hoping you will read my pieces.

Glad to have you with us!
I too, love the different forms of poetry and in fact my first book will be out within the next couple of months. It is called, "The Language of Poetry Forms". I can honestly say that this book would never have happened if not for the help and encouragement that I received here at JPic!
Here we have the most comprehensive listing of different poetry forms in the "Poetry Defined" section which you will find in the main forum. If you know of any that are not listed there, I hope you will let MsJ. know about it, so that she can add it!
I am really looking forward to reading some of your work!
