Hello

It has been awhile since I have been arount the poetry world, I had a great love for poetry and the deep meaning that it has, I just need to get my feet wet again, at the moment I wouldnt know a sonnet from a bonnet. Py best poetry at the moment would be,

Roses are red
Violets are blue
and
Im in Love with you.

Would appreciate any knowledge that you are willing to give to me

Don

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Don...as you know, poetry is in everything around us...even the bad...just go with the flow and start putting words together...there are many different form samples and explanations in our "Types of Poetry" Forum.

Hahahahaha :]
Cute into-it's ok, I think everyone can do poetry xD
You're just not too sure about the traditional forms
basically anything that comes out of your head that is meant to be poetry could be poetry xD
It's just a matter of perspective to say what is good or not good :]

*huggles*

Well, I haven't seen you around, SO GET AROUND!
just kidding, I'm not yelling :]
Well, I'd love to talk to you in the chatbox or anywhere else-can't wait to read your stuff :]
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world"
