Salutations!

Saluwhat?

Salutations!

I do words. Some people do numbers, some do science. I have little vortexes of thought that dwindle down into a central point. I talk in metaphors (I think it helps ideas sink in better), I look for poetry, I go to sleep thinking of ways things could be different. I rewrite things so they better fit what I think should happen, and I can dream. I don't think I am a terrific writer - I think I'm a decent dreamer, though.

Deep down. Somewhere.

I suppose, though, that all of this makes me just like anyone else that probably joins forums like these. I am a mote in a field of daffodils. That's okay. Even Horton heard the voices in the mote.

What a wonderful intro! Greetings and salutations right back = Welcome to JPiC - there are quite a few of us that "do words" as well - all of us in fact LOL - There are some that do science as well - PaintedDiary being an example. We do lots of things around here - sharing the poetic love is chief amongst them though, so we're happy to add another wordsmith and poetry fiend to our ranks!

Please familiarize yourself with the JPiC Posting Policy. Feel free to edit your avatar and update your profile to include your current info as well.

Then enjoy all JPiC has to offer.

Ha - I love this quote. I have a variation that's a wee bit sillyness ==> "I'ma crazy Bytch. Definitely a huge case of nuts in a lot of circumstances. But it's all good - everybody loves pecan pie right...?" One of my own personal facebook quote favorites

Anyway - that was likely a bit much... But whatever the case may be = Welcome, Enjoy and Happy posting!

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
