Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting, but I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a member of this group. God has been good and is continuing to be my pilot. My mother fell ill with Chronic Kidney Disease, congested heart failure, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Just when I thought she was about to give up, God told her the race is not over. She is recovering fine, and I can say I have her for 74 years on April 16. My father is 86 and will be 87 if the Lord says so on November 23. Despite all the illnesses and the stress from working and taking care of my parents, He's still blessing me to breathe again.

I am the author of Blinded by Colors, and I just finish two other manuscripts, working on two more. I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Loris Middle where I was named Teacher of the Year, and made it to the top 5 finalist for the County.

Born the daughter of a sharecropper and the last seedling out of 13, I feel truly blessed.

I just wanted to give a little about me, so I can feel right at home with all of you talented people. I've read some of the poems, and WOW!! Move over Maya Angelou and Robert Frost.
