Hi everyone! I found ya'll because a friend has this forum as a feed on his Yahoo 360 blog page. I'm excited to be here! I wouldn't call myself a writer like I'm sure a lot of you are - but I'd like to be! I have the gift of gab and, perhaps if you have a minute or two, you can take a look at my Yahoo 360 blog page (Yahoo! 360° - What's the Latest, Geni?) and see if there's any hope for me!

BUT, my goddaughter (Iman - notice my user name!) IS a poet! I'd like to share some of her better ones with you all from time to time. She's only 14 so she hasn't "graduated" from MySpace yet - so I'll have to be the one posting here for her. (Shoot, I don't even know if she knows how to put ANY other URL in the address box! MySpace drives me crazy - does it bug you too?)

School me as to whether or not this forum can turn a little "bloggish" at times. I feel like I'm blogging right now! Is that cool?

Nice to have you as part of the Community - And please do invite you goddaughter to join as well - We have quite a few younger Members - in fact one of our Moderators ~Serenity~ just turned 16 --- Anyway - yeah - sometimes "bloggish" perhaps - We generally like to call it Sharing Writers' Wit LOL - But anyway - a rose by another name is but a rose - or whatever...

Anyway - I'm the crazy Webmistress of JPiC and Welcome you to share your poetry and writings as well if you like - We do have a section for general chat and such....

I hope you enjoy these people as much as I do. They are an incredible group. Oh, and the site is nice too - multi functional.

My daughter is only 15, and she hangs out here. I find this a healthy form of freedom. At her age, I encourage her to spend time advancing her artistic and intellectual skills.

So imansgodmom, just where did you see this here feed? You should think about bring Iman over even if it's kicking and screaming. This is a wonderful place full of talented and friendly people.
