Hi GEOFF and Welcome to the JPiC Community - I think Fanstory.com is a little disorganized in comparison to JPiC -- We do have a section of tutorial videos to make the navigation process a little "easier" ---> JPiC Video Tutorials

At anyrate - we have a nice memberbase of uber-talented poets, writers & artistes. I think you will find lots of posts/threads to satisfy your curiosity and a very lovely section of writing exercises/challenges to spark your creativity.
