Helloooo!! My name is Shayla. I know it says im like 17... um but im 14, lol. Im here because i adore poetry, reading it, writing it, deciphering it, anything to do with it. Also, im doing a project that must have 8+ pages of poetry, and i thought here would be a great place to get some honest critique.

Sooo about me: Again, my name is shayla. I go by shay, shayshay, shanaynay, hershey, or pretty much anything besides Sheila. I dont like being called Sheila >:[

I am a freshman and live in the good ol' USA. I love english, or the creative part of it, and i may become a writer. I am in all advanced classes, and yes i consider myself smart. [Although my spelling isnt so great... sorry] Im currently writing a novel [futuristic romantic comedy]. I have 150+ pages and am pretty proud of myself so far :p .

Im respectful/honest, but always speak my mind. I am never shy, and tend to use my outdoor voice to much. I get along better with adults than most kids my age, although i adore little kids. I am not quite sane because i believe in Faeries and Ghosts and im pretty sure im somewhat psychic. I use animal oracle cards to guide my life, and i do some good witch craft, and believe spells and magic are real.

But really, im more of a typical teenager. I read seventeen and cosmo girl, i have more clothes than i can fit in two dressers plus a closet, my favorite color is pink, and i use the expression OMG in my daily conversations. I have a wondeful boyfriend named josh. We are having our first i love you moment tomarrow at the beach. He almost told me he loved me a few days ago, but i told him that if i am going to tell him i love him, it has to be first on the beach. *squeel!*

Yes i also speak my actions, like i will say yawn or sigh or squeel.

So basically im shayla, i love poetry, im not quite sane, and im your somewhat average teenager. :]
