these logical wirings
speak artificial code.
nutrients filled with preservatives.
genetically altered life.
tampering with fire
until it dulls
into machinations of passion.
tragedies of energy
mangled into polished furniture.
locked in the lacquer of language,
collecting skin.

tentacles arcing in habitual storms.
they tangle in spasmodic beauty
and, recoil with the spirit’s formation
into walling syllables.
implanted conceptual skyscrapers.
blocking any flicker of light
with incandescent perception
and assiduous punctuations.

an endless night of fascinations.
pounded into submission
by leviathan tongue.
words, blah, words.
blah, timing, drama.
the “CUT!!”…
“Get off my set curmudgeon.”

LOL! Though I found this piece a bit pretentious with the verbage and all - it's a highly entertaining piece of writing LOL - could be the set of a weird Steinfeld episode - The last couple lines there with the dialogue = golden. Ha! I hope I didn't just date myself.... But anyway - I imagine the anti-poetry title is for haters like me who think the verbiage is a bit much and pretentious LOL - I must say that it is done with the bit of tounge-in-cheek flipping of the middle finger (aka sophistocation) that I like though.

Allright - thanks for the share poet. Don't remember if I've invited you to do such as of yet - but please feel free to edit your avatar, as well as update your profile info to include your current info. Also - please familiarize yourself with the JPiC Posting Policy

My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

thank you. should have thanked a while back. yeah this was a somewhat pretentious piece but, it was the only way that i could describe the yearning i was feeling for not being able to justifiably manifest what was turning under the surface. (even this explanation sounds pretentious) oh well, at least you were entertained by it. it also pokes fun at how it seems that no one is interested in a cynic who is continuously searching for the meaning behind things, we want someone to work the stage damn it.

Ah - the story of me life. Can't act right to save my life - so forget the stage act LMAO - but yes indeed,it seems I'm on a continuous search to find the meaning behind things that were never quite explained to me... We are curious creatures I suppose.
