Aus
I took a tour of Australia
A land of blood red sand
They talk some kind of language
That I can’t understand
They sell a beer called XXXX
A pale beer, bit fizzy but OK
Bit weaker than my local brew
A chud drrrrink its hall y dzay
The places I have visited
The places I have seen
Didjabringabeeralong
And
Sydneyfulloqueens
How many women called Sheila
Inhabit this barren land?
How many guys by name of Bruce
Can be found if you look around
A Sheila I met was a sexy girl
Now here is the rub
She’s no more waltzing Matilda
She strips in a lap dancing club
I’ve visited Ayres rock
Uluru to the local folk
Translated it means ‘big pebble’
They must be having a joke
Beasties crawl all over you
Especially when you’ve gone to bed
Most of the buggers are deadly
Apart from some of the sheep so it’s said
The spiders have fangs like daggers
The snakes are even worse
The sun hangs high at noontime
Australia really is cursed
Koala’s can bite you severely
Though they look so timid and shy
Kangaroos will kick you’re balls off
Right out through your backside
Wrestle with an alligator
If you feel the need
Well let’s be fair there’s not much there
Nature needs help to feed
What can I say of Australia?
Some words that would be the truth
I’m glad I escaped with my life
It was close Mate, Blimey, Strewth!
