Across the ocean
how far out can you see?
Above the horizon
arches the sky, vast and deep
If you wonder
where the expanse ends
where the line melts
be a drop in the sea

Have you wondered about
the glow on my face
the blue in my eyes?
How it surges. How it recedes
Close your eyes
Blow your hair in the breeze
Open your eyes
Plant your feet among the weeds

Let your mind soar
above the sky
until it overlooks
the entire sea
Bother not if the sun sears
the wind cheers
the dark fears

When the verdant trees
the ardent beams
the golden leaves
turn snow white in the north
walk along the coast in the south
until your figure diminishes
into a grain of sand
in the beach
