Beautiful

You always said I was beautiful.
And grin on the sight of me.
But lately all I hear is,
Disgust and contempt.
Whenever iam in your presences.
You chide and mock my looks and body.
Knowing you use to caress and ponder on them.
I never wear the right clothes,
Or say whatever just to pleae you.
I am always judged,
By the women you see on the way.
But in the end,
I am the butt in your jokes and chastise.
Because I am lacking in certain departments.
I have tried to be the image.
Just to make you happy.
But I started losng pieces of myself.
And the words were not going away.
There was always something new,
You weren't satisfied about.
And mock the tears coming down my eyes.
You always said I was beautiful.
But I must believe it for myself.
I am letting you go to your own world.
Cause, I have to save my life and sanity

I've been there too and I understand but
we have to love ourselves for who we are
and if someone else can't do that, they're not worth it.

What a jerk... These kind of men don't know how to appreciate a woman until it's too late. And what do they think, models and movie stars will roll out the red carpet for them, feed them grapes. Maybe they will, I don't know, but these guys are unrealistic. They won't be happy with any woman until they understand acceptance and respect for others. Fabiola, you're making the right choice to dump the guy.
