Dislike Of Hate And War
Deep sadness
Unto delirium
Unto madness
Losing equilibrium
I cannot speak
Will I fall again?
Have I gotten so old and when?
There are none on whom to depend
Where are my friends now
Lost my gladness
Yes It seems I passed my peak
Yes where is there a friendly soul?
Surely not so far away
The happy days seem
To be long in the past today
I must look to find where
My forgotten friends are
Those that care
I hope they are okay
And that are mutuality lasts
Sometimes you have to be the one
To reach out
And touch -- Such is the song of the stars
O, but really this misery
Is not yet such livid dread
Abandoning truth in this poetic
Muse
I often lose all truth in my head
It's just this state
Of being alone so long
Relying on the written word
And technology
To satiate my endless desires
And rectify
My hopeless melancholia
Take all of my poems and stories
And throw them all into the fires
If there shall be World War Three
I shall know not what to do
I will hide from the face of envied war torn land
I will only seek love
A happier future I will dream of
I will keep eyes looking above
I shall wait
And trust in the creator's hand
So true
There is nothing else to do
But trust in the glory of the holy dove
And now this seducing and selfish pain abates
Leaving my hands trembling cold
Winter's coming, all things change
I must search deeper into the soul
And I have but one question:
How will I love everything again?
