This heat hits my neck and it's never felt so good.
Remember the days when Fall Out Boy were more than just the scene and arm races.
Romance isn't dead,
I felt it at 2am this morning when your voice was the only thing piercing the darkness.
Take me down to the waterfront and let me rest my head on your thoughts.

Dear Flookyyy,

Yes indeed your prose/ poetry is different. I also like this piece, and the last two lines summarize the thought. The title once again caught my eye! I do see the story in the abyss of your poetry thus far, and I love what I am reading. The structure may be different as some may not be used to. I am commenting on the content and the way I feel and not on structure, punctuation and such. That last line lingers....I love that in poetry as it is a personal favorite of mine. Do you write stories as well? I think I would love to read a story from you. Your poetry has a mysterious component or element to it and that intrigues me....

Kimberly

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your response and honesty .
There is a story behind the last two lines, but I've been told in the past that when I explain my poems, it can often spoil it as people often interpret them in their own ways. So I've chosen not explain unless otherwise asked.
I have written stories in the past, but poetry is always where my passion is. Simply because I love how you can capture a feeling within a simple few abstract lines.

Thank you again .
