Now is the time we need to ring

like angelic choirs,

our writing reaching zions peak,

We are the free-floating embers from the fire,

the bodyless souls of aged wisemen,

We are the ignition,

we just need ignited,

we can burst into heavenly rings

becoming candles over the heavens.

I love the concept of free-floating embers E - but I'm confused as to who the embers are. Is this a poem about lovers? I was thinking as much, then I read the line:

So I'm a little lost in the translation, but I do love these closing lines:

That's beautifully transcendent. Imagine being so high as to be above the heavens. I'm dizzy just thinking of the prospect.

Thanks for the share

Jacquii.

My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

MSJ it was going to be about love, but no its about prophets and poets in hiding afraid of their craft,
I'm telling the poets and leaders to become ignited and serve their goal,

thank you msJ for the great comments, where's all the commenting going people are on here?

We're gonna need a few trendsetters to get this JPiC Van back on the road to prosperity.
So much thanks to ya for spreading the poetic love around. It'll be returned to ya (I'm sure) once we get the site active and rollin again.
